INSTRUCTIONS

Nhà Nha is a community-created album that explores the relationship between photographs, memory and home within Vietnamese communities.

Written in both English and Vietnamese, these stories come as tiny essays, poems, reflections, and fragmented explorations. As the memories, moments, and mappings of home. You can go either in the order of the photos or at random, thus producing your own translation of nhà – which, depending on context, can mean 'home', 'house' or 'family' in Vietnamese – by choosing how to enter the album and reassembling its meaning online.

We also invite you to engage with and evolve this album by submitting your own contributions.
